Burning Body (2023)

A body in a burned car leads into relationships among Barcelona police officers whose accounts do not sit comfortably together. The Spanish dramatisation draws on a real case, using competing viewpoints to make private loyalties hard to read. Its attraction is an increasingly poisonous emotional triangle, with the distinction between dramatic reconstruction and documentary evidence worth keeping in mind.
