Ethos (2020)

A cleaner's therapy sessions open onto intersecting Istanbul lives with different assumptions about class, religion and belonging. Berkun Oya lets people be contradictory without making one character an explanation of the whole country. Its eight-episode first run is a manageable, patient introduction for viewers who like conversations to change their understanding of somebody.
