Axel Dumas

A sixth-generation member of the Hermès family, Axel became executive chairman in 2013 after a period of leadership by Patrick Thomas. He helped drive the group's digital strategy, including the 2017 website redesign. That makes his contribution distinct from earlier generations' product innovations: bringing an established luxury business into online retail while retaining its craft identity.
