The Fall Guy (2024)

Logan Holladay's eight-and-a-half-roll car stunt is a lovely reason to watch a film that actually puts stunt work at the centre of its story. David Leitch's action comedy gives Ryan Gosling's fictional double a job shaped by falls, driving and awkward physical problem-solving. The finished film mixes practical work and visual effects, while its behind-the-scenes material lets the real performers share the applause. The romance supplies a lighter rhythm between impacts.
