Victorian Farm (2009)

A farming year on a Shropshire estate makes food preservation, clothing, animal care and machinery part of one household economy. Ruth Goodman's willingness to do the domestic work is as revealing as the larger agricultural tasks. Its pleasure is the accumulation of effort, with demonstrations making the cost of ordinary routines much clearer than an inventory of period inventions.
