Quo Vadis, Aida? (2021)

Jasmila Žbanić follows a Bosnian UN interpreter trying to protect her family during the fall of Srebrenica. The tension comes from access, translation and decisions made behind doors, not battlefield spectacle. Jasna Đuričić keeps the film anchored in a mother's urgent calculations as institutional assurances become horrifyingly inadequate.
