Bay of Fires (2023)

A wealthy mother and her children arrive in a remote Tasmanian community that is scarcely prepared to welcome them. The dark comedy uses their disrupted expectations to expose local rivalries and secrets. Its wild turns are part of the attraction, rather than a promise of naturalistic small-town reporting.
