Mystery Road (2018)

Detective Jay Swan's missing-person investigation crosses an outback cattle station and a community with long memories. Distances and Aboriginal relationships with police shape who will speak and what can be understood. Start with this 2018 series, rather than confusing it with the earlier films or the Origin prequel.
