Trouble in Paradise (1932)

Two thieves discover that professional compatibility can be a remarkably strong basis for attraction. Ernst Lubitsch makes the choice between shared mischief and wealthy security feel deliciously unstable. Herbert Marshall, Miriam Hopkins and Kay Francis give the polished surfaces enough emotional ambiguity to keep the comedy from becoming merely decorative.
