The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love (1995)

Maria Maggenti gives a first love between teenage girls the awkward delight of discovering that someone apparently unlike you can understand you. Laurel Holloman and Nicole Ari Parker make the attraction lively and vulnerable. This small independent film is especially worth seeking for a queer teen romance attentive to class and the reactions of friends.
