Dan Kurzius

Kurzius was Mailchimp's first support agent as well as a developer, then built its support department and continued researching customer needs. He and Ben Chestnut founded the business in 2001 and remained partners through its 2021 acquisition. His role makes customer contact visible as a co-founder's continuing responsibility, rather than a task automatically handed away once a company grows.
