Arthur Davidson (motorcycling)
Person
Born
Davidson became Harley-Davidson's secretary and general sales manager in 1907. He recruited dealers and promoted training for mechanics while William Harley oversaw product development. Their working relationship spanned four decades. His entry is especially useful for recognising distribution and after-sales service as substantial founding responsibilities, alongside the engineering that attracts more attention.
