Raat (1992)

Revathi gives the household's growing disturbance an unnerving physical centre. Ram Gopal Varma makes ordinary rooms and glances do much of the work before the possession imagery takes over. This original Hindi-Telugu production is a leaner, more sustained scare option than a busy horror-comedy.
