Parvathy Thiruvothu

Take Off (2017, Malayalam) centres Parvathy as Sameera, a nurse working in Iraq when conflict traps her and her colleagues. She gives the large rescue narrative a practical, personal focus through work, family and fear. It is a tense introduction to an actor who can make resilience feel like sustained effort rather than an effortless heroic pose.
