Kamal Haasan

Anbe Sivam (2003, Tamil) offers a conversational introduction to Haasan as Nallasivam, an activist thrown together with a younger advertising professional. He combines an elaborate physical characterisation with humour and compassion. Choose it for an argumentative, emotionally generous road movie rather than assuming his work is confined to action spectacle.
