Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

A chase becomes an entire social order coming apart. George Miller makes the convoy's direction and each desperate transfer between vehicles readable even at outrageous speed, while Furiosa gives the escape its emotional purpose. Its relentless machinery rewards a big screen and loud sound, but the brutality is hardly casual background viewing.
