Karl Seitz

During Seitz's mayoralty, Vienna carried its municipal housing programme forward on a large scale, building on Reumann's groundwork and Breitner's financing. The estates combined dwellings with shared facilities, making housing part of a broader municipal social programme. The administration's eventual overthrow in 1934 interrupted that political project. His inclusion highlights sustained delivery across institutions and successive leaders rather than a claim that one mayor invented Vienna's housing model.
