Primer (2004)

Shane Carruth makes an extraordinary discovery feel embedded in the routines, competition and partially explained work of engineers. Its technical conversation can be difficult to follow, and the film does not pause to provide a neat diagram. Choose this established independent cult film for the unnerving sense that understanding a mechanism may lag far behind using it.
