Born
Grove treated training at Intel as part of a manager's own work. He taught courses on performance reviews, meetings and the company itself, while internal managers delivered much of a catalogue of more than fifty classes. The distinction is direct responsibility: the people practising management also had to explain it, with instruction tied to how the organisation actually operated.
