Frankenstein (2025)

Guillermo del Toro makes the ethics of creating life feel painfully personal. Oscar Isaac's feverish ambition meets Jacob Elordi's wounded physical performance, and the elaborate sets give the experiment a world you can almost touch. This earns the first recommendation for viewers who want science fiction to ask what a creator owes a conscious being. Expect Gothic horror and a deliberate, expansive pace.
