The Departed (2006)

Martin Scorsese turns a Boston double-infiltration story into a furious comedy of professional anxiety and unstable identity. Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon make opposite forms of exposure feel equally exhausting. The blunt violence and crowded plotting suit a world where almost nobody can speak safely.
