United 93 (2006)

Paul Greengrass approaches the hijacked flight through procedure, partial information and the difficulty of understanding an event while it unfolds. The lack of a conventional star hero matters. An intensely distressing film whose restraint makes its reconstruction more powerful than an imposed inspirational shape would.
