Mohamed Saad (actor)

Saad turned the El Limby character from a supporting attraction in El Nazer into the centre of El Limby (2002). Exaggerated physical comedy and an eccentric persona were the attraction, with later films building around other conspicuously named characters. He belongs in an account of popular influence even if this style is too broad for your taste: the recurring comic identity is part of the story, not an incidental joke.
