The Incredibles (2004)

Brad Bird makes extraordinary abilities reveal ordinary frustrations inside a family. Each action sequence grows from differences of temperament and the difficulty of working together. Pixar's visual clarity gives the superhero spectacle wit and physical invention, while the parental anxieties ensure that adults have more to follow than the villains.
