Psychokinesis (2018)

Yeon Sang-ho gives extraordinary abilities to an unimpressive father whose attempt to help encounters property interests and state power. The changing relationship with his daughter keeps the social comedy from becoming merely a demonstration of effects. This Korean discovery is especially appealing when superhero responsibility needs a concrete neighbourhood to answer to.
