Repo Man (1984)
Movie
Released
The repossession crew treats a radioactive car as another irritating job, which makes the surrounding lunacy feel oddly matter-of-fact. Alex Cox's punk Los Angeles is held together by deadpan rules and the refusal of almost anyone to behave normally. Follow its working rhythm rather than demanding a tidy science-fiction explanation; that is where the affection starts.
