The Painting (2011)

Jean-François Laguionie turns the difference between finished figures and rough sketches into a beautifully readable argument about exclusion. The adventure keeps the ideas moving rather than stopping for a lesson. A smaller-release alternative to familiar studio animation, with brief artistic nudity and threats worth checking for a younger household.
