Tracks (2013)

Mia Wasikowska gives a long walk across Australia a persuasive mixture of resolve and reluctance to explain herself. The changing relationship with animals, visitors and solitude supplies the movement. This is the 2013 Robyn Davidson adaptation, a reflective alternative to a rescue thriller, with animal deaths and isolation shaping its emotional demands.
