Kon-Tiki (2012)

A fragile raft turns an ambitious Pacific crossing into a sequence of practical disagreements and environmental risks. The Norwegian film is most engaging when confidence in the expedition has to survive contact with the sea. Its account of Thor Heyerdahl's voyage should not be treated as proof of his broader migration theories.
