Ruben Brandt, Collector (2018)

Paintings seem to infect the shapes of everyday people when psychotherapy and an art heist collide. Milorad Krstić makes art references an extra pleasure, while the chase works without recognising them all. Try this 2018 Hungarian animated crime thriller for visual puzzles and a restless formal imagination; its emotional centre is cooler than a conventional character-led drama.
