GoodFellas (1990)

Martin Scorsese lets the attractions of belonging to a criminal world become inseparable from its everyday terror. Voice, music and movement draw the viewer into a social system that keeps changing the terms of loyalty. A remarkably energetic adult crime film, with brutal violence and a deliberate intimacy with people who can be both funny and appalling.
