One False Move (1992)

A criminal flight approaches a small town where professional duty and private history cannot stay separate. Carl Franklin gives the ensemble room to complicate an initially clear division between pursuers and fugitives. A powerful American crime discovery, but the opening violence is brutal and the racial tensions remain emotionally central.
