Bound (1996)

Small shifts of trust keep changing the practical plan in the Wachowskis' compact 1996 noir. Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon make attraction part of a dangerous alliance around criminal money, while the tight apartment spaces turn looking and listening into suspense. Explicit sex and violent threats shape an adult thriller whose spatial invention rewards close attention.
