The Chaser (2008)

A former policeman's search for missing women gains urgency from his own compromised motives and the institutions failing around him. Na Hong-jin makes pursuit feel exhausted and physically difficult. A gripping Korean discovery with a very harsh view of protection and competence, including sexual violence, child distress and graphic injury.
