Alexander Armstrong

Pointless rewards correct answers that fewer people in a survey thought of, creating time for contestants to explain an unusual choice. Armstrong gives those conversations a genial rhythm without losing sight of the score. His exchanges with the person at the information desk are part of the appeal, especially in the original partnership with Richard Osman. Choose this for a quiz that lets a half-forgotten fact feel valuable, with a host who makes the suspense pleasantly companionable.
