Dewson's Reporter Plan asked Democratic women to investigate New Deal activity in their communities and circulate what they learned. The DNC Women's Division turned political education into continuing local party work, rather than appearing only at election time. Preserved records make the organisation visible alongside its leader. These were partisan reports intended to build support, not independent evaluations of the New Deal.
