George McGavin

Ultimate Swarms is a strong introduction to McGavin's ability to make insects and collective behaviour absorbing. The dramatic mass of animals is the invitation; his explanation asks how a group can achieve something that a single creature cannot. His enthusiasm comes from close attention to details that many viewers would pass over. Choose him for the pleasure of discovering that a small or apparently unappealing animal can open up a substantial scientific question.
