Steve Backshall

Deadly 60 uses the excitement of predators to draw younger viewers into animal biology. Backshall's energetic explanations are most rewarding when a fearsome reputation gives way to an account of senses, movement or hunting adaptations. The encounters are carefully produced by a specialist team; the useful lesson is to notice how an animal works within its world. Choose this for lively family viewing that can turn a simple question about danger into a more interesting question about survival.
