Paul Wellstone

The Wellstone Alliance continued work begun during his 1990 Senate campaign, linking community organising with electoral politics in Minnesota. Its archived records include a county coordinator project and support for Democratic-Farmer-Labor candidates beyond Wellstone himself. That continuing structure is the reason to include him here: a campaign could leave behind an organisation capable of activity between elections, instead of disappearing when the votes were counted.
