Helen Clark

Clark left New Zealand's premiership in 2008 and led the UN Development Programme from 2009 to 2017. The organisation's Executive Board credited her with modernising its work and putting the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals at the centre of its programmes. This was influence through the priorities and operation of a large institution, rather than a claim that one administrator delivered the goals themselves.
