Jill Douglas

Douglas's interview with Siya Kolisi after South Africa's 2019 Rugby World Cup victory is a strong entry point: the conversation opens the result out into what it means to the people involved. Her rugby presenting and reporting combine sporting knowledge with attention to the person answering. That can give a newcomer something to care about before every rule is familiar. Choose her for interviews that connect the contest on the field with a larger human story.
