Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (2022)
Movie

A tiny community gives ageing a scale you can suddenly notice: a household object can be an obstacle, a ritual or a safeguard. Marcel's care for his grandmother Connie makes attention to another person's changing needs quietly central. The live-action and stop-motion hybrid is gentle, but separation and bereavement give its curiosity weight.
