Louise by the Shore (2016)
Movie
Released
An older woman left in an emptied seaside town makes a new routine while memories enter the quiet spaces around her. Painted textures keep the past from feeling like a neatly sealed flashback. The attraction is her resourcefulness and shifting sense of solitude, with a pace that asks you to settle in rather than wait for a rescue plot.
