The Party (2017)
Movie
Released
A celebration of a politician's promotion gives each arriving friend a chance to puncture the hosts' image of success. Sally Potter's compact black-and-white staging keeps reactions within reach of one another. It suits viewers who enjoy a brisk collision of private news and public principles more than a slowly explained mystery.
