Kiichiro Toyoda

Toyoda carried capital and experience from his family's loom business into car production. Toyota's historical shareholder table records his personal holding at the motor company's establishment, alongside much larger corporate holdings. This is a case of inherited industrial resources funding a new manufacturing venture; the later size of Toyota should not be mistaken for the founder's personal fortune during his lifetime.
