Schitt's Creek (2015)

Catherine O'Hara's extravagant phrasing could justify a recommendation on its own, but the Rose family's changing relationships supply the staying power. What begins as wealthy people behaving badly in a motel gradually becomes a comedy about learning to value other people. Dan Levy and Annie Murphy give that change a lovely combination of sharp edges and vulnerability. The early episodes are pricklier; the warmth builds rather than arriving fully formed.
