Leonard Lauder

Lauder's $125 million gift created Penn Nursing's Community Care Nurse Practitioner Program in 2022. The first fellows began that September with tuition support and clinical education linked to underserved communities. Fellows were expected to serve such communities for two years after graduation. The programme connects funding to a defined training route and service commitment, while its eventual effects on access to healthcare still depend on graduates, employers and local conditions.
