Stephen A. Schwarzman

Schwarzman established a fully funded graduate scholarship programme at Tsinghua University, combining study in China with an international cohort. The inaugural class was selected in 2016 and the programme formally opened that September. The wider fundraising total included other donors and should not be counted as his personal contribution. Its place here rests on the educational programme and student support, rather than simply the college building that houses it.
