Drew Barrymore

The warmth that made Barrymore memorable in E.T. developed into an adult comic identity, particularly alongside Adam Sandler in The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. She also co-founded Flower Films, which produced Never Been Kissed and Charlie's Angels. That production work matters here: the lasting career involved helping make vehicles for her strengths, rather than waiting for someone else to rediscover a child star.
