The Chestnut Man (2021)

A small handmade figure links a Danish murder investigation to an older disappearance and public power. Choose the original 2021 case for a focused, grim procedural with the pressure of hidden family histories. The 2026 follow-up returns its detectives to another investigation, so this recommendation is not a promise that the entire series is a single closed miniseries.
